An Afternoon on the Beach | Keystone Lake | Appalachian Bay
We found another fun spot to visit on the way home from the Ancient Forest it is called Appalachian Bay on Keystone Lake. I can only imagine that it would be wall to wall people during the summer but a 60 degree windy overcast smoky day we were the only souls there. Which is just how we like it.
The kids haven't been to a beach since last summers road trip to Florida so this was fun for them to see the sand with some white capped waves rolling in off the lake.

They all loved it but this one was over the moon! We stopped her just short of making snow angels in the sand :)
He was more into the splash than the skip of the rock.
Then we practiced our letter formations. She is working on her last name in preK and I think she did great!
The benefit of teaching your kids how to use your camera is that occasionally you can get in a picture with your main squeeze ;) Love this guy!
