Made it Monday 1.31.10

The last Made it Monday of January; it is hard to believe how fast this month went by (not that I'm complaining being pregnant and all...).  This week I made something with my mother-in-law that will welcome spring beautifully.  She is an expert arranger and I help.  This is one of the two we came up with that day.
This is the before...
And the after...

Basically,  you buy some pretty flowers in at Hobby Lobby, cut them apart, hot glue them to a grapevine wreath, and before you know it you have a new spring wreath.  Anyone have any ideas for how to keep real birds from nesting in your wreaths?  I would love to know.

What have you MADE?

1.  Enter the link to the post you are showing off; not the home-page of your blog.
2. You must have a link back to Made it Mondays on your post somewhere so people can continue viewing everybody's creations.  You may also include the Made it Mondays logo (optional)

  1. Oh my no! I do not know how to keep them out of them.
I make my own nests, and the birds love the ones by my front door.
They just help themselves to my carefully selected nesting materials!
So, now i do only indoor nests!! =0)

    and thanks for hosting

  2. Cute wreath. I had a bird take up her home on my front door wreath and when I opened the door, she flew into my house. I stood there startled as her feathered man came in to rescue her. LOL!
