#homemadechristmas Day Three Fire Starter

Crafting and Gift Giving can be a challenge as your boys turn into teenagers. This one is a perfect fit for any guy in your life! Jack is eyes lit up when I suggested the idea of a #firestarter gift. There won't be a cheaper gift out there and it is all about collecting items and giving them a purpose. Pick a guy in your life that likes a wood fire! If they have gas logs this won't work as well. But if they like #campfires #bonfires or have #woodburningstove this is an ideal gift. Start with a paper bag like a lunch sack. Fill it with easy to burn items to make kindling. Suggested items: Cardboard Dryer Lint Toilet Paper Roll Twigs Dry Pine Needles Leaves Pinecones Bark Cinnamon Sticks (optional) for added scent Fill your sack half full with your favorite items. Tie twine around the paper sack. Add a homemade gift tag. To Use: Place the entire sack at the bottom of the woodpile and light on fire. These dry ingrediants will help get the fire going and will be much appreciated when it is time to get warm and cozy this Christmas! Enjoy!
