A Little Yummy Fun!
Mix 3/4 cup shortening, 1 cup sugar, 2 eggs, and 1 tsp vanilla. Blend in 2 1/2 cups flour, 1 tsp baking powder, and 1 tsp salt. Cover and chill for at least 1 hour. Heat oven to 375. Roll dough to 1/8" thickness on lightly floured board. Cut out your shapes. Bake for 7-9 minutes. Best before edges turn brown.
Really good fresh out of the oven.
Even better with a little icing.
Icing: Mix 2 cups powdered sugar, 3 tbsp milk and 1 tsp vanilla. It will be a little runny. Paint on cookies.
